A secret wish fulfilled + photos from our celebration

Thank you so much for celebrating SonDeBaril’s 3rd anniversary with us!

And sing we did!  You might remember this quote we shared some time ago, which still rings true for us today.

Three years into our journey, and after our third production, Madre, we paused to appreciate this road so far. 

What a dream it’s been - bringing visions to life, working with amazing collaborators, and sharing communal experiences with you.  The support of our family, friends, allies, and community of artists & aficionados has been incredible.

We also started noticing familiar names in the audience, whom we hadn’t met in person. We don’t always get to meet everyone during theater performances, and it was time for something different - a little break from production work - time to kick back.
Let’s celebrate, we said!  And who better to celebrate with than our flamenco community?

Thank you so much to everyone who gathered with us on a cozy Sunday afternoon to celebrate our third anniversary!  It was everything we wished for - a day filled with wonderful performances, great energy, the sherry was pouring (thanks to venenciadora Chantal!), plus lots of time for catch-ups with friends (and some chance meetings) 😉😉

And yes, that secret wish was fulfilled - shout-out to our new friends… you know who you are! We’re beyond grateful to connect through the work. How wonderful to finally meet you!
